Better get used to it, Rarity, as there are 912 mares and 734 stallions in G4 
Those numbers are every known mare and stallion counted, including those never seen in the show itself and the old ones. Officially named 313 mares and 222 stallions.
Although it's not that bad in G4, they hardly had any males in prev Gen.
